Don't

by Emma   Jul 3, 2007

She walks at midnight,
Don't trust her.

She sings lullabies to the dead,
Don't listen to her.

She wanders through the graves,
Don't look at her.

She talks to the imaginary,
Don't walk with her.

She sings when she walks,
Don't think about her.

She whispers to the moon,
Don't reach out to her.

She'll say everything will be okay,
Don't believe her.

She crumbles to the ground,
Don't watch her.

She slowly fades away,
Don't cry for her.

Her eyes go dead,
Don't worry about her.

I'll be okay.

Please don't steal. This is one of my favorite poems that I've written.
