A real friend

This world is make up
of all kinds of people
some treat you like crap
others do it equal .

We all know whats right
and most of us try
some just can't take it
so they live a lie.

But along my way
I've made some friends
some come and go
few never will end.

One is special a friend
who's always been here
I'll never forget her
for she is dear.

When I was down
didn't kick me out
when I'm in trouble
she's there no doubt.

She travels the distance
makes sure I'm fine
even though sometimes
listen to her whine.

Doesn't ask for much
tells me to understand
all things are possible
it's in Gods hands.

I dedicate this to my dear friend Janet that made all this possible for me to do, so this little poem I wrote for you, thanks Janet for being a real friend.©2007 Tracydr42
