It was great when we started
Where did we go wrong?
Why have we parted?
When we were once so strong

We loved each other then
We love each other now
Once one but two again
Both alone because we ended somehow

I shouldn't have gotten mad
It's my fault I know
I never thought I'd feel this bad
I shouldn't have let you go

Now condemned to a life of regret
With all the things we've been through
I promise that I wont ever forget
Because I'll always love you.

    This poem was really sweet! Is this Kyo from Fruits basket? I was just wondering. I have a poem like this called "For Kyo", and it also talks about love. Yours was more in depth and it kept me in interest throughout it till the end. The flow was perfect and I love how you kept the rhythm and structure the same. I love this poem!! Great Job!!
