She Came In Through the Bathroom Window

She Came In Through the Bathroom Window
By: Charisma*

It wasn't fair and they were wrong
To keep her at home that night.
The party was just too much fun.
She had to put up a fight.

But the words she'd planned to say
Wouldn't do her any good.
Still, she wouldn't follow the rules
Like she knew she should.

When her parents fell asleep
She snuck out to have some fun.
She'd be home before they knew it
Before the day had begun.

The party was the bash of the year
With plenty of drugs and booze.
But the noise attracted the cops
And she knew there'd be no excuse.

So she ran to the house on the hill
Nobody was home so it seemed.
A place for perfect protection
Is what this young girl had deemed.

The doors to house were all locked
But there was a room with a glow.
So inside she was. She came in
Through the bathroom window.

Safety at last so it felt.
But the comfort came to close
When the alarms all went off
And there was nowhere to go.

The cops came to the house
And took the young girl to jail.
An announcing of her mistake
The red and blue sirens did wail.

Breaking an entering, booze, and drugs
One phone call to break the news.
The lesson of the story is.
When you don't listen, you lose.
