A hard thud against the wall.
Yelling Get up as she crawls to the door.
A hard back hand and a beating of metal,
A blood smeared handle as a hand reaches out.
Reaching for the door, the voice pleads No more.
Another heavy and vicious attack.
The hurt and shattered body sprawled motionless across the floor.
All for the lame reason of not having his dinner on the table when he got home from work!
