Superman's Song

by Chloe Cain   Jul 4, 2007

Where once the helpless, bleeding pictures of happy days lay torn and ruined,
bittersweet memories,
a melancholy sound of a mournful violin.
One heart stood alone, trembling.

Now the flutes, muffling night-time's sinister curse.
A flicker of hope, a message of peace from deep within.
Truth and understanding found in the harmony of two souls once hopelessly and eternally entwined.
A single act of beauty - a confidence made, a secret kept; and all is repaired.

A beautiful melody.

I give you away with a newfound joy and greet you with sincerity in my smile. A love not found in love.

My heart, my friend, my teacher, my muse.
My Superman.

In all the wonderless day I've had today, I'm glad my eyes came to rest here. This is so beautiful. I've added it to my favs.
