Validate Me

by andrea   Jul 4, 2007

Staring in the mirror, where did the beauty go
Looking at my reflection, if you only knew me you would know
It's not about vanity, but validation
Searching for approval and your admiration.
A girl who really doesn't love herself, lost within
Uncomfortable, in her own skin
Tell me I'm beautiful, tell me I'm alright
Tell me you love me and you can't let me out of your sight
Tell me I'm worth existence
And that I have some substance
Validate me
So that I can tolerate, who I never wanted to be.
