Running

by Micro Kouklitsa   Jul 4, 2007

Running through darkness my heart it beats fast.
No end to the tunnel I fall and I gasp.

Blackness surrounds me my feet are so cold.
The howls in the distance are becoming quite old.

I turn every corner with no place to hide.
They can feel my fear growing stronger inside.

I can't let them catch me the result will be ill.
They haunt and they hunt, but they best like the kill.

My pace becomes faster and I never look back.
For I know that they're right there on my track.

If anyone gets a chance.. rate my poems please... :)

I like the flow and the wording in this poem.
    It's short but very effective.
    Good work, 5/5.
