How You Grow

by missy   Jul 4, 2007

Little drawings on the walls.
Little footsteps down the hall.
Giggles and laughter all day long.
You play make believe and you make up a song.
You jump high and you jump low.
" Are you ready, Get-set-go".
Your growing up so big and tall.
How your growth charts climb the wall.

I know this time will never last.
Only because your growing up so fast.
You'll be a man someday and you'll face life's journey along the way.
I hope you will be successful in all that you do.
Just remember that parts up to you.

I will be happy and I will be sad.
I will remember all the times that we had.
Your laughing, playing and running all around.
Your skint little knees from falling on the ground.

These memories are mine, until it's my time to go.
Until it's my time to say goodbye to you both.
