Forgotton One

by TwistedDancingCorpse   Jul 4, 2007

I'm nothing more but a Soul
Wandering the earth forever
Waiting to hear the Call
But the song will come never,

I'm a forgotten soul
An abandon life
The one that should not be
Can no one hear my Plea?

I wander around this place
As everything changes
Throughout time they live
The dead yet still living,

Each one has died
Each one is alive
Each one will come again
Throughout the time,

Nothing more but a soul
wanting to live again
Hoping hearts to meant
Is it the same in the end?

We all have our reasons
We all have our fate
We all will be lost
At this rate,

No one soul
Can live beyond time
For that one would not make it
Through all the pain of change,

Time passes
Life's end
Souls live
Hearts mend,

Through time all will die
No one will know when
But shed a tear and try
To be the forgotten one,

The forgotten one lives
Through time and space
Never finding, its one true place

That soul will live forever
As it has been forgotten
So when the call comes
All will go
Except forgotten one,

Soul watch over us all
Though we cannot see
Their true meaning
Of setting us free,

I'm nothing more but a Soul
Wandering the earth forever
Waiting to hear the Call
But the song will come never.
To my ears.

(I forgot this one too)

^ My favorite stanza, excellently written.
I like the repetition of the first stanza in the end, it leaves great impression.
The choice of words was good through the whole poem, and the flow, too.
