The World in Black and White

What is a world of black and white,
but only deprived of color?
No, the white were blind by night
for there are many colored.

The colored didn't shine bright
in the eyes of the white.
So, they were denied several a right
which they should have had.

It took a King with a dream
to peacefully voice the injustice.
But, a cruel man with a scheme
shot the King from his throne.

Still, the words of the King stayed
and the colored rights were granted.
The courts could no longer be swayed
by the color of the person.

Colors make up this earth
and beautify this planet.
They advance human forth
and are important to the future society.
