Our Own Love Song.

by ABake   Jul 4, 2007

Put your arms around me.
And gently kiss my lips.
Look me in the eyes.
And softly stroke my hips.

Look at the stars with me.
And always hold my hand.
When I have problems,
Tell me you understand.

Kiss me on my forehead.
And softly brush my cheek.
Look into my eyes.
And tell me what you think.

Fall asleep with my head on your chest,
Let me listen to your heartbeat,
As we get our rest.

Take me on walks,
And open the car door.
Tease me,
Leave me wanting more.

Tell me I look beautiful,
And kiss me on the head.
Whisper goodnight,
Before we go to bed.

Just hold me.
Hold me all night long.
Don't let me go.
We will create our own love song.

    Very sweet poem indeed!
    Take me on walks,
    And open the car door.
    Tease me,
    Leave me wanting more.

That's the only stanza where the flow was off...the third line should be longer...but other than that, it was a very pretty piece!

"Look [at] me in the eyes."

    Nicely done. =]

Gauging its degree, methought this poem was rather engaging and endearing to read.

    "Just hold me.
    Hold me all night long.
    Don't let me go.
We will create our own love song."
`The fact that certain lovers could fashion their own love song by way of their thoughts and mutual sentiments for the other is enthralling.

Lovely work, m'dear. Keep on writing what you feel and like. I hope you all the best and take care!
