Changes Of Life

Why do things have to change?
life suddenly changes in a flash
from a child playing with their toys
to an adult working to earn the cash

a smile can change so quickly
a tear can suddenly be worn
and many times through life
you heart gets ripped and torn

you fight a battle
which never seems to have an end
you gain so many problems
but lose many a friend

there never seems to be a winner
but losers theres to much
but memory always remembers
the first kiss, smile and touch

you have so many dreams
but regrets overpower
and you find happiness in little things
like the birth of a flower

but then the moment is lost
and changes you do realise
you hear so many hellos
but more sad goodbyes

so live you life to the full
and smile through the pain
because when life is gone
its something you never can gain xx
