You forgot all about me

by Rakebul Robin   Jul 4, 2007

You and I cemented our relationship with grief.
Apart from faithfulness, what mistake did I make?
The bond was formed, then our vows unraveled...
what sort of repayment did I get for my faithfulness? what sort of gift did you give in return?...
Your promises, all those intentions...
they were all forgotten so what sort of gift did you give in return for my fidelity?
I don't understand what fault you found in me..
I only nurtured our love.
Beholding the goblet of love, you gave me the poison of hate to drink...
You made me drink the toxin of hate.
I will never be able to sleep again, never be able to fall in love with someone else.
Go ahead, become a stranger, but I can't be one to you.
For the sake of some outsider you forgot the one who was your own...
You forgot me yes, you forgot all about me...
