A Lover's Question--For You and I

by Joseph   Jul 5, 2007

In our paradise
It's a lover's question
For you and I.
Better asked before we die.
How do we know
when our love defunct?
How do we keep us young
Through wretched tongs? --
So as we both grow old
We could share foes.
Tell good friends 'Hi'
And make them smile.
Giggle and curdle
At family tables.
Were there--
Comes another gossip
From family friends
And friends alike.
Who wish us both
the best in life.
From happy days,
To happy ending,
Makeup sex,
And raging passion.
Let them talk
Their talk is glue.
Let them watch
They would love you too.
It's a lover's ecstasy
For you and I.
And a lover's question
Better asked before we die

Wow! Deep and I like it!

    "And a lover's question
Better asked before we die "

Might sound weird, but these lines make me think of Romeo & Juliet.
