I'm grasping onto air wishing it was her hand,
I'm staring into space wishing it's where she'd stand,
I'm singing a lullaby wishing she would fall asleep tonight,
But she ain't here so I'll keep on searching.

I'm talking to everyone hoping to find her name,
I'm calling everyone friend hoping we have the same,
I'm falling out of bed at night looking for someone to hold on to,
But no ones there and nobody knows.

That I'm calling all the news papers once again,

I'm looking for about five four with a heart of gold,
Long brown hair and lots of goals for us,
A Women who knows to forgive the past,
The kind of girl that i know i would last with.

She needs to have a smile that'll make me melt,
The greatest lips around that I'll ever feel,
She needs to be a ten at least if only in my eyes,
And to her i should be about an 8 or 9.

So I'm calling all the news papers once again,

I'm looking for about five four with a heart of gold,
Long brown hair and lots of goals for us,
A Women who knows to forgive the past,
The kind of girl that i know i would last with.

There she goes she's walking away,
I don't remember what to do or say,
*oh wait i think i remember*
Just reassure her everything is gonna be ok.

Darling your about five four with a heart of gold,
You have long brown hair and I'm hoping you have goals for us,
And i know you know just how to forgive because of all those stupid things i went and did...
