As I sit gazing out of the window ,
its pouring with rain again here.
While I gaze I start to think ,
and my thoughts they bring a tear.
I have my boys to be proud of ,
and a nice home to call my own.
But still these tears do fall ,
because at times I feel so alone.
I have a partner who loves me ,
and I wish I could say I love him too.
But the hurt I had in my past ,
never again do I want to go through.
Not everyone understands why ,
I'm with a man I don't love.
Some may say I am cold hearted ,
but for me security and stability were enough.
Yet as I sit gazing and deep in thought ,
the same thing comes to my mind.
My thoughts again are of another ,
tears fall because an answer I can not find.
