Love is a seed.

by Alison   Jul 5, 2007

Seed.
Unborn, still,lifeless.
Nothing to do,
Nowhere to go.
How is it then, that this will ever grow?
Impossible it seems
This small little thing can mature,
Lush and teem
How wonderful it would be to see.

There will be obstacles along the way.
It seems plausible then,
that the seed will fade away.
Never to grow,
or develop at all.
How sad it would be,
to see the life from it crawl,
it would never know life,
No pleasure at all.

But against all odds,
it can grow.
and last through all hardships,
and although it has quite a long way to go,
It just might last far beyond anyone's expectations.
Live far longer than a simple trend.
It just might work out in the end.

Rose
Budding,pursing,Growing.
Beautiful.
Against all odds,
The seed planted grew.
from simple to beautiful
it all worked out in the end.

Let's let our love grow like this flower.

I read your poem and found it quite interesting. Nice words and good flow kept my attention. I look forward to reading more of your works to see what appears when they are turned over.
