Freedom Isn't A Death/Deaf Song

by Fan Angeleo   Jul 5, 2007

I remember the pain
I remember the rain
All the things that
made this happen.
I remember the feelings
the weight that had me
drowning, my tears,
my cries unheard, the
voices that kept repeating
the same old song. The
words were mixed up
yet I had heard enough
Enough to know something
was wrong for every beat
had me turning captured and lost
within burning. I had to get out before
I was engulfed. To see a brighter day
and start to living my life again.

I really liked how you've worded this! We all feel trapped sometimes, but it is up to us to wake up to reality and break free. Love your style of writing.

    Take Care.
