Thin Ice

by Loved In Hell   Jul 5, 2007

I had a dream
In the mid of the night
It was cold and silent
With hardly any light

I was on
A frozen lake
The ice was frigid
My soul it seemed to take

I stumbled and slipped
And fell to the floor
The ice touched my body
And I froze to the core

It was there on the floor
I realized it then
The ice under me
Was getting so thin

I didn't even have
Enough time to scream
I fell into the water
In this horrible dream

Under the water
I started to drown
My life flashed before me
As I went further down

All I could see
Were the tears I cried
Then things went black
I realized I died

I awoke in tears
It was my life
It was there in my dream
I noticed me, skating on thin ice

( As long as you are still breathing it is never too late to change your life)
