Sunrise to Sunset

by Beyond Repair   Jul 6, 2007

Whisper through the sunrise
I can see in your eyes
They tell what I don't want to hear
My anger and fear brought me here

Look into my eyes
To find a surprise
A small drop of a tear
I grab you and pull you near
Shocked as I'm pushed away
Fighting to make you stay

I'm sorry she says
Between heavy breaths
I cant do this anymore
She looks down at the floor

Why here, why now
Still unable to figure out how
I was so blind to see
This is how you'd break up with me

Shocked as my stance turn to sit
Too much for me get a hold of it
My confusion and fear I had
Turn to jealousy and rage as I get mad
I start to question and blame you in anger
Unfair for me to do so with no type of composure

I'll give you a chance to make things up tonight
You messed it up so you make things right
I wanted to stay together till the end
Why does it matter how much time we spend
Together isn't our love still there!?
I can no longer see your face through your hair.

Yelling through the sunset
Leave me you'll regret it
I loved you and I cant bear
Now that your not here

The anger is building I begin to lose it
Why am I yelling trying to get through it?
I must look so dumb
When all I want to do is turn and run

Our relationship begins to fade
The sunset gives a shallow grave
I cant hold all this pain I take
Instead of sleep ill be awake
Waiting for the sun to rise again
So it can take this all back and make amends

Crazy to believe the sun took this from me
But before it rose we were together and whole
But my heart cant take the toll
That this may all be my fault
So from sun rise to sunset, from east to west
I'll live life full of regret
