Fear

by Laith   Jul 6, 2007

Weve lived a lot in our fear
Til it became our addiction
Weve lived a lot around here
And didnt pay any attention

Now listen
Thats a lesson you wont forget
Cease what you want and want what you get
Dont fear to let go and sit
Fisherman and the brains is the net

Now listen
If your world came crashing down, dont shout, dont make a sound
Just learn its you and the ground, dont surrender, build your own town

The fear is there believe me I know
But its in you to control
Dont be a fool just say no
Then you feel like you got it all

Dont trust but yourself
You must know who you are
Dont jump over a cliff
Cause you know it aint that far

Well done, and well said. Plenty of morals and lessons in this poem. I am voting for this one 5/5. Walah

we do become addicted to fear and pain. it's strange it like it's all we know so we are afraid to feel any different.
