This is a very heartfelt and touching piece. Life can be hard, and no one knows the battles and problems we face as individuals, but yet many do feel similiar emotions and it is reassuring when we realize we are not always alone in our feelings. Its amazing, just how resilient and how much some people can endure in life, time and time again. Its also amazing just how much of our pure emotions we can learn to control and hide. But I can see that you have shared and expressed just how you feel into this poem. Sometimes in life, we have to look at just how far we have come, and how much we have accomplished to fuel us to never give up.

Where do i start?

its obvious you have true talent, because you just made a grown man cry...its very touching, very real, very raw..full of emotion

"If they only knew
Things I have to fight"

Those lines scream...the rest of the poem that followed took a few reads because I kept thinking of those lines..its very true, people are ignorant to the weaknesses of others. Regardless, its an amazing write...keep your head up, keep the pen going..and keep the faith.

Its just a phase which has made you write such depressing poem but rather than preparing me or your friends...you better prepare yourself as nothing like this is ever going to happen. Its just a matter of time....trust me... :o)

I agree with Diana because I too have felt that I fight a battle alone sometimes...But even though you feel you are struggling so bad....thats just the devil putting negative thoughts in your mind because God is all the strength you will ever need..just keep talking to him and let his will be done....I'm sure he will let you stick around for your grandchildren and children :-) Your amazing Cindy and I wish I could do something as well to take pain away.....but all I can do is pray for you because God hears me....perhaps with my faith and yours....together...that can give you strength to make it through another day!

Cindy, you brought tears to my eyes. The torture of the mind, A battle i know too well. Keep your head up and keep writing. One day, you will come to the realization that i have come to (if you havn't already).........All the suffering of lifes battles have shaped my being. And i wouldn't take that back for anything. :)
