Another year gone by so fast,
No time to reflect on the past.
You're one step closer to prosperity
And one leap closer to seniority.

There have been nights
When the wind howls of your breathless fights.
Yet, in the end
Our love once more mends.

Another year has shown its face,
And may i say what a happy place.
In our kingdom come
I sing of my tuneless song.

Happy Birthday once more, my friend.
Now you're forty-eight.
I just wanted to let you know
That I'll be your baby girl
Forever and a day.
