Dreams

by Vesper   Jul 6, 2007

You go to bed
And fall asleep
Your mind lets go
And away from you creeps...

You see a new world
Magical and pure
Is this for real?
Are you there for sure?

Endless meadows
With tons of flowers
Delight fills your heart
You can stay there for hours...

No clouds in the sky
Birds sing their song
Everything's perfect
But somehow you don't belong...

All this perfection
And no one in sight
No one to talk to
And share your delight...

Is this really a dream?
Or a nightmare perhaps?
But doubt and uncertainty
Make this world collapse...

You wake up in bed
Disappointed you groan
Could this be?
Even in dreams you're alone...
