An evening stroll

by jojo88   Jul 6, 2007

Some of life's pleasures for me will be
Just holding hands as we stroll by the sea
Or to sit for a while and take in the view
And as the mood takes us, find something new.
.
Just looking at people, strolling along
Enjoying a busker who's singing a song
Watching the clouds as they slowly drift by
That looks like a Panda up there in the sky.
.
If you look at that cloud, I'm sure you will see
A lovely young doe near that vanishing tree
The doe best be careful, that's a dragon behind
But we know they're not real, and it's just in our minds.
.
But real or not they're a pleasure to me
Lovely gifts from nature for all to see
And besides me sits the best gift of all
Such a beautiful woman who in love, I did fall.
.
Just holding your hand as we walk along
No need of that busker, my heart sings a song
With words that were written by both our souls
As you and I take our evening stroll.

I love how it flows really nicely and it didnt seem like you were making anything up to make it rhyme. Good job :]
