Best Friends

by Alyssa Schlarb   Jul 6, 2007

From the halls of middle school,
To the stage of graduation.
You have been there for me,
Through every crazy situation.

Sleepover and pillow fights,
Long talks on the phone.
I knew as long a I had you,
I would never be alone.

Stupid little fights,
Not talking for days.
Seem like years,
Wasted and thrown away.

School dances,
Fighting over boys.
Memories made,
Only for us to enjoy.

Starting high school,
Unsure of what to think.
Getting this far,
It's hard to believe.

Through thick and thin,
Good times and bad.
Life has been good,
With you around.

The only one believing,
Not sure what I could do.
You've pushed me,
I've made it through.

Through so much drama,
Fighting through it all.
Best friends forever,
that's what we are.
