Free as the Wind

The sun has just faded
And it looks like a full moon tonight.
As this time whirls around
I feel free as the wind.
In some peoples eyes
It is dark and gloomy.
But for me it is a time
For wondrous peace.
As you venture off to
The land of unknown.
Where the stars and the moon
Are your destinies.

But now the sun is rising,
Erasing away the moon and the stars.
And the glorious feeling
Of peace with no chaos
To the day with a busy schedule.
As I await the night
My tragic troubles swarm.
Putting me out of a calm world
Into a stressful land
Far away from my paradise.

But now a sense of relief,
Comes over me.
Taking me away,
Like a gust of wind blowing
The smallest worries
Out of my life.
And now again
I feel free as the wind.
Because the night has came
Yet to leave again soon.
