Are You Proud of Me Yet (In Your Eyes)

by Andrew Morton   Jul 6, 2007

Perfection
simply out of the question
replenish
lets wait until im finished
confidence
when it all make sense
pride
maybe after im done dying inside

you never said the words
that i was longing to hear
now im left here living
with everything ive come to fear

im sorry if i let you down
i promise not to make a sound
ill keep it all to myself
cause there will never be anyone else
i would you'd learn to forgive
and diminish all of my sins
memories we'll never forget
are you proud of me yet

sweet sorrow
lets go for it tomorrow
self sufficient
through all of the ignorance

a pat on the back
a kiss on the cheek
why dont you make
these torn ends meet

im sorry if i let you down
i promise not to make a sound
ill keep it all to myself
cause there will never be anyone else
i would you'd learn to forgive
and diminish all of my sins
memories we'll never forget
are you proud of me yet

(cause in your eyes)
im a sinner, not a winner
(cause in your eyes)
im a waste of a life
(cause in your eyes)
i see that you want more
(cause in your eyes)
well, i cant do this anymore~~

im sorry if i let you down
i promise not to make a sound
ill keep it all to myself
cause there will never be anyone else
i would you'd learn to forgive
and diminish all of my sins
memories we'll never forget
are you proud of me yet

(in your eyes~~~)
i cant give you anymore
(in your eyes~~)
i cant do it anymore

are you proud of me yet?
