Who Loves Me Most of All

by Twisted Heart   Jul 7, 2007

Sometimes its all that I can do
To struggle through each day
Finding courage to look upon
Facing troubles along the way.

Inside my heart there is a hole
That traps me like a vice
A sounding board is what I need
To make things turn out right.

A soul that holds just emptiness
No light comes from within
Until I open up the door
And let the Lord walk in.

Then he will hold and comfort me
With words that soon unfold
Against the harsh realities
That litter in my soul.

An inner peace will come to be
His love will stay my fall
A faint reminder from the one
Who loves me most of all.

^^ Jeannie, this right here is amazing..when we have those holes in our hearts thats where the Lord is...working on ways to mend it and bless you.....Very faithful piece from you! I love poems like these because they give me hope that there are still people who believe in God when things get rough!
    Loved this!
