I fell to rise(Do read it for some inspiration)

by Roxiee An   Jul 7, 2007

A bird was broken in such a way that he was not full anymore
may be he was robbed and hence he forgot to fly for sure

From the heights of zenith he fell hard on the ground
but still he dreamt deep of dark blue clouds

He kept repeating, We as Gods men
know only to smile know and then.

Whatsoever may happen to me
tomorrow I will fly above that tree.

He learnt to fly when he lost his wings
yeah that is why he still sings.

You also take your sorrows with you
and use the pains to be just, better and true.

All his dreams were shattered like a glass
but he found some good in those pieces.

He thanked God that he picked him
willing not to repeat any of his sins.

This day is to end as I see the moon
giving way to a better day soon.

I also wont take full credit as i have adapted some lines from a song in my native language

''He learnt to fly when he lost his wings
yeah that is why he still sings.''

Those lines are so pretty and beautifully written...

    My other favourite part was:
''This day is to end as I see the moon
giving way to a better day soon.''

I thought they too, were beautiful and inspiring and by the time I had finished reading I was left with a big smile on my face...good flow throughout, beautiful imagery and elegantly written...perfect.
