Flicket of Light

Why does my heart flicker with a light?
Is continuous vulnerability i fight?
What are the honest feelings within?
Is this something to consider to begin?
I know what the answer should be.
Why do i move forward curious to see?
No regrets pops into my mind,
Could there be rarity out there to find?
Trust not easily released out to the abyss.
Although the ache of mystery can't be missed.
How do you know for sure unless you try?
Will hurt come from opening up to this guy?
I don't have the answers to the questions i seek,
I either hold back and wonder or jump from the highest peak.
I pray that one day i can look back,
To appreciate the moment knowing i did good in fact.
