Sorrow's Curse

by ben thompson   Jul 7, 2007

Sorrow's sins give birth to my unimagined grief.
Exhausted by desolation without faith or belief.

Terrible plagues released, bridge to peace charred and burned.
Never to reach my peak, for oh so long I've yearned.

Light lying undiscovered beneath blight's pain unseen.
Life wracked by nightmares, torn apart are my dreams.

Unending torture hounds my deeply troubled sleep.
Mercy withheld from wicked souls, undeserving of relief.

Dark and loathsome residing in my lair devoid of sun.
Roaming courtyards of the damned, depravity's honored son.

Eternity's devout prisoner, trapped by blackened thoughts.
Waiting for this curse to end, finality at any cost.

    Ben
What a sad piece you have penned. The emotion in this ust reaches out and grips my heart. I can relate to so much to your words.

Light lying undiscovered beneath blight's pain unseen.
Life wracked by nightmares, torn apart are my dreams.

These lines bring tears to my eyes. I know things will get better for you.
    Love you
