If i wrote a poem...one for only me and you,
tell me darling, tell me dear, just exactly what you'd do.
over and over, would you read, until you'd memorized each line?
or would you read it once, and skim it twice, barely noticing the rhyme?
would you notice, how, with subtlety, i'd made the words so real?
for i'd write of the love, between you and me, i'd scribe perfectly how it feels.
it, this bliss, of when you are here with me.
i'd write of how i love you, dear, forever, always, endlessly.
so tell me love, if i wrote a poem...one for only you and me,
would you love it as much as i love you; as much as you love me?
