Throw your heart over the fence and the rest will follow.

Get down off your pedestal
You don't deserve to stand high.
You think you know all that goes on
When in fact, you're living your life in a lie
You think we're intimidated by you
That you far out stand the rest.
Well Hun let me break it to you
There's no one you can impress.
We've all seen your darker side
And well, the whole isn't too glam.
Can't you see just what you've created,
The pathetic thing you call life is a sham?
You say you're in love with a boy
But you can't seem to trust him at all.
Sorry to say, but trust is love,
That's the pinpoint of your downfall.
You're jealousy and fear might have been right
But your pushing him was quite wrong.
You pushed him right into my arms,
And made our love grow strong.
Green symbolizes jealousy
And I'm sorry, but it's not your shade.
You were dealt a folding handing.
You've lost this game you've played.
So go ahead b**ch, say what you want.
Call me names and cuss me out.
See how much of your words
I truly care about.
And then just leave,
Don't say goodbye.
Because now that you're gone
I'm flying high.

Great job on this one. I really liked it. I could really feel your emotions through it. What exactly is the situation, because i assume that your poem is based on something in your own life? Am i right? Keep up the great work, and check out some of my poems if you get the chance. I could use a new perspective on them.

Wow, that was harsh but somethings in life are harsh and you need to say how you really feel otherwise you are the one living the lie.
a very good poem, that flowed exceptionally well, well done
