Forgotten

Waiting by the phone,
checking my e-mail every second I get.
But everything just reminds me that I'm alone.

My only companions,
pieces of paper,
and an assortment of pens.

Waste away my days
with a book in my hands,
I don't really know any other ways.

I just want someone to talk to,
even if it's about nothing,
it would still do.

I hate feeling like this,
like a sad, lonely,
never ending,depressing abyss.

I'm alone and drowning,
Does anyone even care,
that I'm no longer breathing?

Would someone please send
a signal,a sign?
Because I'm feeling oh so forgotten...
