Sons Of Liberty

by FountainsOfBlood   Jul 7, 2007

Chained to the bone
There's no way to escape
She stares at her captors
With nothing but anger

Two...Only two men
One, full of confidence and pride
One stared back at the girl
With tears pricking his eyes

He stands aside like a small boy
And the other man approaches
Shaking her body so much
The chains almost ripped from the wall

He takes off her clothes
And draws himself into her
She looks at the shy one
Eyes now red, does nothing

After he is satisfied
He fixes his clothing
Pulling out a gun, put to her head
"Have you any last words?"

"One day, you may see
That life has it's advantages
It's weaknesses
And what lies behind truth

But you don't see
What you have thrown away
You are Sons of Liberty
Now Fathers of Imprisonment"

The man didn't understand
The other took every word in context
Accepted what she meant
Mumbled he was sorry

The man shot her head
Her body dangles from the chains
Unaware what she was trying to say
Unaware of her message...
