Happy endings aren't for everyone

And so it now seems
the story is ending
the life that once gleamed
is now fractured
that lights bending
unable to hold back
her dark as she breaks down
her happy ending
is now the tortured sound
prince charming is gone
she wonders if he was there at all
fading to gray
with the rain
in peices she falls
along with this book
tattered and worn
along with it's pages
frayed and torn
