Three Cowboys

by issues   Jul 7, 2007

Grandma as referred to all of them as the three cowboys,
She loved watching them even when fighting over toys.
She would be proud of the men you have become,
Always fast to response, Do you think i am dumb?
She spoiled you with all the food you could eat,
Even offering chocolate cake for breakfast was neat.
Now you have turned 40 and ready to begin life with your own family,
Remember to keep her alive in your life for her to see.
All her hard work paid off because as a family we stand strong,
Something she was teaching to us all along.
We may have a rift we may not conquer,
Sad for their loss but one thing to me is quite sure,
When tragedy hits we jump to huddle & deal together,
It makes you understand and remember.
Grandma was the glue that binded us,
We have to continue to build our family letting go of little things is a must.
Raise your families, live your life but keep in mind,
The best treasures in life aren't from money you will find.
