You lied when there was no need to
you broke my heart
i acted like it was OK
but it wasn't
you wrote an apology
but that doesn't make up for what you did
you didn't even have to say anything!
but you led me on
led me to believe you liked me a lot
you toyed with my emotions
i thought you were nice and sweet
but you're just like all the other guys
i promised myself I'd never cry over a guy
but what you did made me break that promise to myself
and i forgave you
but i won't truely for a very long time
it wouldn't have hurt so bad
if you were honest from the start
but it's too late now
