Karosene

The flame between us,
Just didn't seem to have,
The karosene to keep going on,
So it all had to end.

We thought we could,
Make it through,
But we burnt the karosene,
Faster then we should have.

We romantically watched,
As we both tip our hearts,
And watch those three little last drops,
Into something that would never last.

Where would we have been now,
If the flame kept burning,
What would we have before us,
If we didn't use the karosene so fast.
