Would You Miss Me?

Would you miss me if I was gone?
Would you cry and be sad like a song?
Sometimes I don't know why,
But I think of death and I sigh.

Maybe it's the easy way out.
I hate my life and no one in it loves me.
I stamp my feet and shout,
Hoping someone will come rescue me.
But no one comes,
I am in this alone.

So would you miss me,
If I took my life away?
Would you be able to face another day,
Or would you just move on with nothing to say?

Your life will be better without me.
After I go through it, you'll soon see,
That part of the family I wasn't meant to be.

So as I lay here and wait for the pain to go away,
I think of my more happier days.
My eyelids close, and my body rests,
My heart slowly stops its beat in my chest.

As I go nearer to the light,
I can hear the angel's song,
But still I wonder,
If you'll miss me when I'm gone.
