It Would Be Nice....

I see everyone with someone by their sides,
Some are kissing,
Some are gazing deeply into each others eyes,
Some are hugging....
It would be nice,
To know what it felt like,
It would be nice,
Just to have someone with me tonight...

And i believe in soul mates,
I believe in a Fate,
I truthfully believe their is someone for everyone,
But what about me - I hope it will never be too late,
And it would be nice,
To know what true passion was,
And it would be nice,
To have someone to ring up when ever you wanted to,
But mainly just that special someone,
To say how much you love them,
And how much they love you too....

I have learned enough about what I need to know,
I know what direction in which to go,
I want someone to hold,
I want someone to need,
but I want to comfort someone like that when they bleed,
I am a good person - one of the best,
If I ever did have someone,
I would love them to death,
But if It never happens,
Then I am to good for life,
I will sit alone for the rest of my days,
Like I am doing,
Tonight.....
