Rejection Romance (Triolet)

by Jenni Marie   Jul 9, 2007

Eyes filling with tears, thinking of what we had
Guess this is just another rejected romance
How could something so good turn out so bad?
Eyes filling with tears, thinking of what we had
Used to be so happy, now I'm feeling sad
Can't stop thinking of you, like I'm in a trance
Eyes filling with tears, thinking of what we had
Guess this is just another rejected romance

Triolet-Consists of 8lines.
1st, 4th and 7th repeat.
The 2nd and 8th repeat as well.
Rhyme scheme is abaaabab

I never thought of a breakup being a rejected romance, but the message that this piece brings is that it is just that...very excellent meaning behind this poem, keep up the great work
