The Mistake You Can't Forget (Triolet)

by Jenni Marie   Jul 9, 2007

Seems you're the mistake I just can't forget
Recalling your startling deep dark eyes
How could we have ended with such regret?
Seems you're the mistake I just can't forget
Deeper and deeper in memories I get
Remembering all of your promises and lies
Seems you're the mistake I just can't forget
Recalling your startling deep dark eyes

Triolet-Consists of 8lines.
The 1st, 4th and 7th line repeat.
The 2nd and 8th repeat as well.
The rhyme scheme is abaaabab

    I love the whole concept..

"Seems you're the mistake I just can't forget"

i had to read that a few times, because my brain was taking it as a "your making the mistakes"...and finally seeing that they were the mistake that YOU made...just gives it this immaculate feel...first class work on this one, keep it up!
