You seem to find perfection
someone who is just right
and you try to be with them
you try with all your might

you just want to be with them
but then you don't want to take the test
you cut of all ties with your heart
because you think its for the best

you take a step back
the big image becomes clear
it just won't work out
them words, all i can hear

my head agrees with everything
but the same can't be said for the heart
because it kills me like crazy
that forever we will be apart

life can be so cruel
the heart can be so mean
because it kills apart of you
and murders that perfect dream

i gather up my hearts broken pieces
and wipe the silent tear from my eye
maybe one day it will work out
maybe we will realise

that if you want to see the rainbow
you have to go through the rain
so if we want to be together
we have to go through the pain

only time will tell with us
if your heart is meant for me
