I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an
afterglow of smiles when
life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the
ways.
Of happy times and
laughing times and bright
and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those
who grieve, to dry before
the sun.
Of happy memories that I
leave when life is done.

    Anyone can do that is to leave behind and some don't. Like the view of imagery are perfect good choice of words to use. This is really nice and sweet to do posiitive ways.

    Really nice poem about the life we leave behind us when we move on. Nice use of imagery in this piece. I think everyone wants to leave these things behind when we go .. although most don't want to think about it.

    You made a poem about death and passing on, just about as beautiful as it can be.
