Six Feet In The Ground

Six Feet In The Ground
By:Natalie Heym

I ride around your town
Remembering how we used to clown around
But now you are down
Six feet in the ground

I see the ABC store
That was the place you used to adore
I bet the cashers wait to see you open their door
Now you are deceased and can't go there no more

I see your old house on Island Drive
I can remember all of our good times
You moved to a nicer house
I didn't get to see it until you died

I go to your grave
I wish you wouldn't have been taken away
It's so hard to see you under dirt this way
I have so much to you I need to say
Please come back and meet me at the gates one day
