I still shed a tear every once in a while,
We all be hoping that you was still near
Wondering why you had to leave us here
I really do miss the joking, dancing, and playing
I even miss all the over night staying,
I liked to know that you was always there
I loved the fact of knowing that you really cared.
Used to sit and listen to all of your problems,
And we sat there together trying to find ways to solve them,
Problems from boyfriends, mother, yo son, brother and daughter
Guess thats why you were the only lady i ever called mother.
Your kids, from time to time, just goes insane
And say their lives will never be the same,
With you missing out of their life
To them, everyday is a fight.
You have a great, beautiful, and loving grandchild
She's so loving, silly, and at times can be wild.
Certain ways she look, and some things she do
Put all of us in the mind frame of you.
But as i told them, you moved to a better place
All we have to do is think of your lovely face,
Think of all the love you held so deep down inside
But it showed through your smile spread so wide.
Like i said before, we really do miss you
And all the crazy, but silly things you used to do,
From your long black hair down to your tiny freckles
