The Misunderstoods

by BeautifulGwen   Jul 9, 2007

Oh black misery!
Cloak we in dark
mystery
hold me in your
strong arms.

Shield me against
the dangers and
fears
of the days and years
to the story of horrid nightmares

The twisting kaleidoscope
never escapes the
ever seeing eye
that you created to keep watch
over your children.

For your children
are sheathed in
black, glossy
armor
Because your beloved
are the blackbirds

They are dark, beautiful, and
mysterious, and
totally misunderstood...
